About Vital Ivy Medical Training

 CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is a lifesaving technique and skill used in many emergencies, including drowning or a heart attack, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. The American Heart Association recommends that everyone including — untrained bystanders and medical personnel alike — begin CPR with timely chest compressions. 

Healthcare Provider (RN, nursing students, doctors, medical assistants, hospital technicians, dental assistants, EMT, fire fighters, PT, OT, respiratory therapists, fire fighters:  Take Basic Life Support (BLS)

Non-Healthcare Providers (little to no medical training): Heartsavers CPR/First Aid/AED

 Classes can be completed in as little as 2 hours or as many as 6 hours depending on the course. 

Comfortable clothing. These courses require hands on skills with the mannequins  

 All cards are issued electronically. Within 3 business days of completing a course, 

 Yes. We are a local American Heart Association Training Provider who is aligned with an AHA Training Center.

I follow mandatory AHA guidelines for student/instructor ratios, and staffing/space is based on the number of students registered.  If a student cancels or asks to reschedule within 48 hours of a course start time, Vital Ivy Medical Training will retain 1/2 of the full payment. No refund will be given for cancellations within 24 hours of a class start time, or no calls/no shows-to account for the unused registration spot.  Students may reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours in advance without penalty.  Out of courtesy to others in the class and instructors, please be on time.  We do understand that occasionally emergencies happen, so please reach out as soon as you know there’s an issue.
